During the French Indian War, a half-Abenaki man journeys into the wilderness with a deceitful frontiersman.
Appalachia was shot over the course of 3 days in Toronto and just outside of Hamilton. The tavern seen in the beginning of the film (and pictured here) was actually a massive barn; it took some planned-out blocking to hide the fact that there were stalls for horses just outside of the shot.
